Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize is an annual competition which discovers and promotes artists in the early stages of their careers, and is managed by Oaktree & Tiger, a London-based art advisory team. These artists represent a wide range of practices, countries, abilities, education, genders, cultures, artistic mediums, and more. All entrants are promoted on the website and social media pages, and there are free career development talks, networking events, videos and articles each year. 30 artists are shortlisted and exhibited, and there is £10,000 of prizes, and exhibitions at Ashurst’s London HQ, to be awarded to the 5 winners. Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize 2021 is judged by a highly respected panel, including Sotheby’s Institute of Art’s MA Art Business Programme Director, Dr David Bellingham.

Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize’s identity, values and ambitions are synonymous with those of MADE IN BED. As emerging art world professionals, MADE IN BED’s contributors are committed to supporting and championing emerging artists. This media partnership will allow more people to discover, engage and support these emerging artists.

Lorna Tiller, the Founder of MADE IN BED, pioneered this partnership and will be assisting in its development, alongside Emily Crozier, her successor as Editor-in-Chief.
