About

Formally receiving an education in interior design from both the Lebanese American University of Beirut and Instituto Marangoni in Milan, her interior design projects have been chosen for the House of Instituto Marangoni in collaboration with Vogue Italia. A multi-disciplined artist, Rea has been an avid painter from a young age and in recent years further honed her artistic style working in mixed media such as graphite pencil, collage and paint. Depicting - all too familiar - facial expressions, she draws on common emotional responses to the modern day in a playful and humorous spirit. In her upcoming project she works on a series of expressive portraits that address our tragicomic experience of 2020 and these are due to be showcased at an established M Square Gallery in Beirut in the months to come.

Owing to her impressive background in interior design, her work allows for personal customisation to fit the mood, style and setting of any home.

Standing out for her modern, innovative and exceptional approach, Rea represents a new generation of young emboldened female artists emerging in the Middle East today.

Biography

Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, Rea moved for her undergraduate studies to Lebanon, where she continues to live and work today.

She received a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the Lebanese American University of Beirut in 2018 and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Interior Design from Instituto Marangoni in Milan earlier this year.

Her work is due to be exhibited in M Square Gallery in December 2020.
