MADE IN BED proudly introduces our newest Social Media Manager, Eliza Palmer!

Eliza is a 26-year-old master’s degree student in art business, living in Battersea, London. Her mother is American, and her father is half French and half English, which has provided Eliza with the opportunity to grow up in various countries and speak multiple languages. Eliza was born in Tucson, Arizona and moved to Paris, back to Tucson, and then to New York, where she lived until she was 14 years old. Her family then moved to London, where Eliza attended the International School of London in Gunnersbury until graduation, and moved to Paris to attend the American University of Paris. Eliza then went on to study further at the Paris College of Art and Chelsea College of Art, a college within the University of the Arts London, to expand her art practice and education. Eliza is currently studying at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, where she is learning to navigate and operate within the art world. Eliza looks forward to further immersing herself in the arts and fashion, both locally and internationally. She is passionate about the possibilities for collaboration between the two, and regularly enjoys attending fashion and art-related events in order to stay abreast with the current movement of these creative practices.

As the new Social Media Manager for MADE IN BED, Eliza works to increase the magazine’s visibility and reach, to promote emerging and established artists. Working for the magazine enables Eliza to share news about important and exciting happenings in the art world, and to grow in this multifaceted community.

Eliza enjoys the ever-changing and dynamic energy found in the art world, accompanied by genuine love and fervour for the arts. Other than this, she is an avid reader, amateur artist, dogmom and a fitness trainer. You can typically find Eliza sitting with her chihuahua, Mysa, painting, reading, or researching the latest about the arts.
