MADE IN BED proudly introduces our newest Deputy Editor, EmmaJayne Albritton!

EmmaJayne began her career in public relations and event production in her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. She is a 2024 graduate of Samford University, where she earned a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Media Communications with a concentration in public relations. During her time at Samford, she developed and executed successful campaigns for creative professionals and contributed as a writer and editor for digital platforms.

EmmaJayne is passionate about collaborating with creative individuals and building meaningful professional relationships. She is honored to serve as the inaugural Deputy Editor of MADE IN BED, where she works closely with the Editor-in-Chief to shape the publication’s editorial vision. In the year ahead, she looks forward to continuing to grow as a writer, editor, and collaborative leader.

EmmaJayne is a creative herself, whether that is researching for her personal writing, getting inspiration for watercolor paintings, knitting scarves or needlepointing. One might find her exploring local markets for fun ingredients to cook with, reading a cozy memoir, watching old Hollywood movies, wandering around the V&A or out dancing with friends.
